Stairs and Handrails are improved further to ease custom design and usability:
Redefined Stair Construction Settings
The Stair Construction Settings interface is redefined and reorganized:
- Validation options moved from the Constraints tab to the General tab continue to allow you to control prompts and warnings when the limits set on the Constraints tab are exceeded.
- Begin/End With Riser and Begin/End with Riser at Landings properties moved from the Risers tab to the General tab. They continue to control if stairs/landings begin with a risers/treads using True/False values.
- Display Fire Escape Rounding property controls if the fire escape rounding sign is displayed using True/False values.
Insert and Remove Landings
You can now insert and remove landings on/from existing straight stair runs by selecting the Insert Landing and Remove Landing tools from the Modify ribbon tab.
New Railing Cell Library Configurations
The following configurations are added to the Building Designer category of configurations in the Configuration Variables dialog.
